4.1 OpenRouter (AI Processing)

Your search queries are sent to OpenRouter, which routes them to large language models for idea generation. OpenRouter processes query text only for the purpose of producing results and does not retain your data for training.

4.2 Reddit API

We access publicly available Reddit data through the official Reddit API to retrieve community posts and comments relevant to your search. We do not access your personal Reddit account or private messages.

4.3 Stripe and Polar (Payments)

Payment processing is handled by Stripe and Polar. Your payment card details are submitted directly to these processors and are never stored on ThreadMine servers. Please review their respective privacy policies for details on how they handle financial data.

4.4 PostgreSQL Hosting

Your account data, search history, and saved ideas are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on secure, managed infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.
